“Beyond realism”, METAREALISM (NYC) exists in the realm of imagination and magic and in the senses of the higher self and mind. Advances in technology and in our understanding of consciousness have created an atmosphere where what is real and what is not real, what is possible and what is not possible are becoming increasingly difficult to define.

Giving free reign to the creative spirit, METAREALISM
(NYC) aims to portray where our visions and dreams may take us. With an emphasis on beauty and articulate detail, METAREALISM (NYC) blurs the lines between our defined concepts and reveals that reality is a work in progress.

The aim is to gather the most beautiful and detailed concepts by the artists involved to portray a dreamlike state where ideas and visions are both brought into crisp focus and directly questioned. And to blur the lines between fantasy and reality paying homage to the imagination, altered states, beauty and the process of creating worlds.

This is just the beginning. METAREALISM is a movement and in time there will be more shows and with that deeper revelations about what it means. It will evolve.
