New York City premier of “Lenscapes” by Redefined Films
Redefined Films (Luke Namer) and Subtierra Sounds (Daniel Avi Halper), are merging live music, photography and documentary to identify the humanity behind important issues and to redirect audiences away from an exploitative portrayal of marginalized communities.
“Rooted Perspectives” is a week-long film series at Gallery 151 that convened films by Bryan Chang, Alex Mallis, Greg Hemmings, photography by Oz Shaw and Karen Zusman, and music from Oak and Ash, R.O.E., Ben Cohen of Museyroom, among others.
